Clinical studies help our physicians evaluate new medications or combination drug therapies that show promising results in laboratory studies. Your participation is entirely voluntary and completely confidential. All clinical trials are federally regulated and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB), which safeguards the rights of patients participating in drug studies. 

If you choose to participate, most of your costs will be covered, including physical exams, laboratory work, follow-up visits, and study medication. In some cases, you may also receive additional financial compensation. Many of our clinical trials are open to both our patients and their parents.
