Our professional staff specializes in diagnosing and treating children’s neurological conditions. We use the latest technology and most modern diagnostic and treatment approaches to give our patients the best care available. Below is a list of disorders we commonly treat, but it is not a complete list. Our doctors evaluate and treat all problems in the field of Child Neurology. If your child has a neurological condition that is not listed, feel free to call our office to schedule a consultation with one of our physicians.
While many patients receive a referral to us from their pediatrician or family physician, a referral is not necessary (unless required by your managed care plan). You are welcome to call our office and ask about an appointment. Our schedulers can direct you to the physician specializing in your area of concern. Our services begin with a complete history, physical examination, and neurological examination. We then conduct diagnostic tests to learn the cause and extent of the child’s condition. When we have a complete picture of the child’s neurological health, we can prescribe a course of treatment. Parents are never left out of the decision-making process. We explain neurological conditions, tests, treatments and their side effects in terms that you can understand. We work with you as partners in your child’s care, and answer your questions so that you can make the best, most informed decisions about the care of your child. |
